Electric Guest

The witty, funky pop duo Electric powered Guest feature Asa Taccone (brother of Lonely Island’s Jorma Taccone) and Matthew Compton. While Taccone helped his sibling and fellow Depressed Islanders Andy Samberg and Akiva Schaffer generate strikes like “Dick within a Container,” he discovered his accurate collaborator in Compton, whom he fulfilled while these were sharing a residence in LA that included Taccone’s previous friend Brian Burton, aka Risk Mouse, being a previous resident. While focusing on Sunday Night Live-affiliated tasks like the Depressed Island songs as well as the soundtracks towards the movies Hot Fishing rod and MacGruber, Taccone and Compton also done Electric powered Guest’s debut record with Burton, an activity that had taken over six years. The duo’s mixture of funk, spirit, soft rock and roll, disco, and pop found fruition with Mondo, which found its way to Apr 2012. They toured for the couple years to get their debut, coming back in 2016 using the one “Dear if you ask me.” The monitor appeared on the sophomore discharge, Plural, which found its way to early 2017.
