El Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán

Longstanding Mexican group Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan was shaped in 1898 in the city of Tecalitlan by Gaspar Vargas, Manuel Mendoza, and by two violinists. In Dec of 1934, the group journeyed to the administrative centre of Mexico to be there on the induction wedding ceremony of Leader Lazaro Cardenas, and acted as the city’s public Mariachi band. 3 years afterwards, Mariachi Vargas made an appearance in Asi Ha sido Mi Tierra (the to begin almost 200 films) and documented their first record. More than another 35 years, they documented a large number of albums of pasodobles, valses, bailables, polkas, and danzones. In 1973, the loss of life of regular contributor Jose Alfredo Jimenez, one of the biggest composer/vocalists of ranchera music, proclaimed the finish of a time.
