Ekkah

Called after two from the three syllables their 1st names reveal, Rebekah Pennington and Rebecca Wilson are Ekkah, a pop duo through the U.K. They fulfilled in school if they had been both 15 years of age, and spent five years in the Arcadian Kicks. When that indie rock-band split, Pennington and Wilson opted to keep as Ekkah having a calm dancefloor sound influenced by early-’80s pop and R&B. They produced their documented debut in past due 2014 using the one “Last Possibility to Dance,” released on +1 Information’ singles-oriented Honeymoon vacation offshoot, and eventually had their materials released on RCA. “Little Chat,” released in 2015, was made by Tourist, as the pursuing year’s “Space Between Us”/”WHAT’S GOING ON” was a cooperation with Dâm-Funk.
