Einstein’s Sister

Although Expenses Douglas (vocals) and Kerry Tucker (guitars) have already been performing collectively for over ten years — even liberating their 1st album beneath the Douglas & Tucker name — the Illinois-based power pop outfit of Einstein’s Sister began their pseudonymous career in 1997 using the release of OarFin Information’ Oceanus. The band’s unabashed synthesis of Squeeze-like nose whines and Jellyfish’s idiosyncratic hooks didn’t gel well with Oceanus’ maker, so the music group returned with their initial indie-based inclinations, which, by most looks, served like a lucky move for the music group. 1999’s Learning Curves started a solid cult pursuing and peculiar music licensing (NBC, MTV, the Air Network) as the pursuing year’s Humble Creatures finally demonstrated not merely what appeared like a full, steady lineup (adding Andrew Brock to bass, Steven Volk to guitars, and ex-Tripmaster Monkey’s Marty Reyhons on drums), but nationwide media praise aswell.
