Eilert Pilarm

Eilert Pilarm, whose actual surname is usually Dahlberg, fashioned himself into Sweden’s version of Elvis Presley. He released three cassettes that protected the King’s materials, appropriately known as Elvis I, Elvis II, and Elvis III. He distributed these by email order or pursuing his concerts. From those produces he culled the material of Greatest Strikes, his debut Compact disc, which was written by MCA in the springtime of 1996. Not really the most common musical artist, and even the most common Elvis impersonator — he doesn’t actually appear to be Elvis, aside from appear to be him — Pilarm gained a place inside a publication whose focus is usually unusual performers, Irwin Chusid’s Tunes in the main element of Z: The Interested World of Outsider Music. A supplementary Compact disc of outsider music was released by Which? Information and features Pilarm, B.J. Snowden, Peter Grudzien, Daniel Johnston, and 22 others. Pilarm continues to be featured around the BBC’s Big Breakfast time Millennium Unique. He produced an on-air appearance at Wilkes-Barre, PA, radio train station KRZ during Elvis Week. He offered concerts in Oslo, Norway, and sang on Danish tv in 1997. A set of Swedish softball groups even called themselves honoring the Elvis impersonator. One is named Eilert’s Angels.
