Eighth Wonder


The London-band Eighth Wonder may be basically forgotten had they not counted actress and celebrity Patsy Kensit among their ranks. It had been in 1983 that 14-calendar year previous Kensit became business lead singer of sibling Jamie Kensit’s fledgling music group, Spice. Rounding out the initial lineup had been guitarist Geoff Beauchamp, bassist Lawrence Lewis, drummer Jake Walters, and a pal named Nigel offering extra percussion. By past due 1984, Kensit was adding more towards the band’s music plus they experienced transformed their name to 8th Wonder. By Xmas, the group was bringing in interest and Kensit experienced landed the business lead female role inside a musical film in line with the publication Absolute Beginners. 8th Wonder was presented with the opportunity to add a song to some soundtrack featuring tunes by David Bowie and Ray Davies.
