Regardless of the name, Egyptian HIPHOP aren’t in the Land from the Pharaohs or several MCs, but instead certainly are a four-piece indie outfit inspired with the ’80s Hacienda picture that created New Order and Happy Mondays. Lead vocalist Alexander Hewett and bassist Nick Delap acquired already played jointly in the music group Copycats, but once founding member Jake still left for school, the duo recruited guitarist Louis Stevenson-Miller and drummer Alex Pierce to create Egyptian HIPHOP in ’09 2009.
