Edmond Audran had not been only a author of notice but a tenor in the comic opera aswell while an organist. His functions include a quantity of “small” operas and sacred music for the chapel. (A funeral march was made up for Meyerbeer.) Audran published the touted “La cigale et la fourmi” which brought him worldwide acclaim but his music experienced no innovative characteristics. Audran employed varied effectvie beats and his melodies had been popular.
