Edith Frost

Choice country-rock singer/songwriter Edith Frost was created in San Antonio, TX, in August 18, 1964. As a kid, her family transferred sporadically between San Antonio, Austin, and Guadalajara, Mexico; after university she relocated to Brooklyn, whereby day she proved helpful as an online programmer and by evening fronted three different groupings: the Holler Sisters (an old-time nation covers music group), the Marfa Lighting (a Western golf swing clothing), and Edith & Her Roadhouse Romeos (a rockabilly device). By 1992, Frost was executing her own music and, motivated by her like for Will Oldham’s Palace tasks, she delivered her demonstration tape to his label, a receptive Move Town; in the wake of the divorce from her hubby, she also relocated to Chicago. After a self-titled EP assortment of demonstration material made an appearance in the summertime of 1996, Frost started documenting her debut LP with associates of Gastr del Sol, Eleventh Wish Day, as well as the Great Llamas; the effect, the superb Contacting AS TIME PASSES, was released in 1997. Telescopic implemented a year afterwards. Love Is True (1999) highlighted artwork by the ocean and Cake’s Sam Prekop. Question Wonder, which implemented in summer months 2001, included creation function by Steve Albini. Four years afterwards, Frost came back with the wonderful It’s a casino game.
