EDEN

What started simply because the dance-oriented Eden Project morphed into different things for Irish singer/songwriter Jonathon Ng. In 2014, following the Eden Project’s last work, Final Contact, Ng transformed his professional moniker to merely EDEN. A change in sonics also followed the change. The classically educated musician — who, as a teenager, grew sick and tired of college music group and orchestra and opted to understand other equipment — started incorporating even more organic instrumentation, unveiling his brand-new path on 2015’s End Credits EP (Searching for Blue Information/MCMXCV). As the Eden Task channeled Ng’s like of EDM, the brand new materials mirrored atmospheric soundscapes comparable to Crywolf or M83. After launching a digitized cover of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” in early 2016, he released the propulsive one “Sex.” His debut long-player, i believe you believe an excessive amount of me, arrived afterwards that year.
