Eddie Schwartz

Biography

Songwriter Eddie Schwartz played acoustic guitar for Charity Brown’s support band within the mid-’70s and signed with Infinity Information for a single agreement in 1979. Though his single albums of the first ’80s (including Schwartz, No Refuge and General public Existence) weren’t effective, he accomplished second-hand popularity when Pat Benatar documented his track “Strike Me together with your Greatest Shot” in 1980. More than 100 other performers have documented his songs.
