Eddie Kirk

b. Edward Merle Kirk, 21 March 1919, on the ranch near Greeley, Colorado, d. day unfamiliar. The ranch hands trained him cowboy tunes and he was performing and tap-dancing with a little band at age nine. In 1934, he relocated to California where, for a while, he caused the Beverly Hillbillies. He was Country wide Yodelling Champ in 1935 and 1936 and between 1933 and 1937, he gained a status as an amateur boxer. He worked well in movies and produced personal performances until 1943, when he joined up with the navy. He came back to California in 1945, showing up in movies, and aimed the Hollywood Barn Dance choir. In the past due 40s, he made an appearance on Gene Autry’s radio present and in addition on theTown Hall Party in Compton. He produced his documenting debut for Capitol Information in 1947 and in 1948/9, he signed up Top 10 country strikes with ‘The Gods Had been Furious With Me’ (including a recitation by Tex Ritter) and ‘Chocolate Kisses’. He afterwards created a fondness for traveling.
