Eddie Greene

This drummer, whose name turns up as Ed, Eddie, and Edward and whose surname can be served up with variations, had a significantly less vague presence with regards to backbeat on funk and jazz fusion productions through the ’70s. He shouldn’t be confused using the keyboardist from the same name from Philadelphia, not forgetting a great many other people called Eddie Green in the music business. Drummer Green was occasionally paired with the fantastic bassist Wilton Felder. There evidently was just one more Eddie Green who performed drums on many jazz information from 1935.
