Eddie Barclay

Eddie Barclay was a People from france piano participant turned record mogul whose flamboyant flair produced him a superstar in his homeland. Given birth to Edouard Ruault in 1921, Barclay was a cocktail jazz pianist before founding Blue Celebrity Records, the to begin several small brands that he’d oversee within the ’50s. In 1960 he consolidated his brands beneath the Barclay name. The label increased to prominence, licensing U.S. produces and creating a solid steady of French celebrities. Charles Aznavour, Eddy Mitchell, Henri Salvador, Frank Alamo, Nicoletta, and Jacques Brel had been all Barclay documenting performers. In 1979 he offered Barclay Information to PolyGram. Often a colourful and flamboyant personality, he continued to some superstar as a celebration web host to France’s biggest superstars. Barclay passed on in-may of 2005 at age 84.
