Georgian fiddler Eddie Anthony played out country blues through the 1920s and ’30s, in addition to playing alongside Peg Leg Howell. Anthony and guitarist Henry Williams documented the melody “Georgia Crawl” jointly, and were associates of Peg Knee Howell’s Gang. In the past due ’20s, the string music group documented “Banjo Blues” along with the dance melody “Turkey Buzzard Blues,” that is better referred to as “Turkey within the Straw.” The fiddler performed with Howell’s music group until his very own loss of life in 1934.
