Ed Hale

Vocalist/songwriter Ed Hale learned to try out the guitar young, writing protest tunes as an adolescent. Influenced by R.E.M. as well as the Kinks, he began the group Broken Spectacles along with his high school close friends. That they had a short-lived but productive profession in the past due 80’s/early 90’s, ultimately divorce amicably in 1994. By 1996, Hale experienced enough solo materials release a a live disk, Acoustic in NY. Even though minimalist arranged didn’t get very much recognition, it do travel him towards piecing together another music group. He founded a different one in South Florida, a U2-esque support music group that provided electronica flourishes and a far more political view. Naming themselves Ed Hale and Transcendence, the group released their debut, Rise and Stand out, in 2002.
