Biography

Ed Bickert, a cool-toned guitarist using a bop-ish design, is a fixture in Toronto because the 1950s. While he performed steadily within the studios from 1956 on, and acquired organizations with Moe Koffman and (moreover) Rob McConnell, it had been not really until he performed and documented with Paul Desmond during 1974-1975 that Ed Bickert received very much recognition within the U.S. He continued to be highlighted on information with Rob McConnell’s Employer Brass and little groupings, Oscar Peterson (1980), Rosemary Clooney, Benny Carter, and by himself Concord and Sackville schedules.
