The Eastman-Rochester Pops Orchestra was a studio ensemble formed by conductor Frederick Fennell in the Eastman College of Music in Rochester, NY. They documented some discs for Mercury Information offering music by Eastman composer Howard Hanson, and also other Americans, such as for example Charles Ives, George Gershwin, William Schuman, and Percy Grainger.
