Eastlink are an underground rock and roll supergroup from Australia who have deliver a crazy, punishing strike with 4 guitars, a drum package, and few music boundaries. Called for an infamous portion of freeway near Melbourne that got a ruinous environmental effect on the Mullum Mullum Valley and it is riddled with badly executed public artwork, Eastlink were shaped by Al Montfort of UV Competition, Total Control, and Straightjacket Country, who was wanting to play noisy, minimal rock and roll & roll along with his close friends Zephyr Pavey (who also has altogether Control aswell as Power Within) and Johan Rashid (of House Travel and Guaranteed Property). While Montfort performed electric guitar in UV Competition, he was wanting to switch to drums for Eastlink, with Pavey and Rashid on guitars; after several sessions being a trio, Montfort extended the group to a quintet by adding guitarists Ben Hepworth (from Interzone and Fixes) and Lee Parker (with Teargas, Spitehouse, and Lakes). In 2012, fledgling label Creep Dreams released the initial item from Eastlink, a self-titled seven-song cassette, and in 2013, two tracks through the tape had been reissued on the limited-edition vinyl fabric 7″ from Aarght Information. Another two tracks through the Creep Dreams cassette had been sent out on the vinyl single through the American indie imprint In debt Records, and in-may 2014, ITR released Eastlink’s initial full-length album, basically titled Eastlink.
