Punk-pop, 100 % pure pop, along with a wry love of life all meet within the audio of Eastern Meeting Champions, a three-man music group from Bucks State, Pennsylvania with a significant alt-rock pedigree. Vocalist/keyboardist Josh Ostrander and drummer Greg Lyons had been longtime close friends and members from the music group Laguardia, who released an record on General in 2003 before crumbling. Both spent 2004 with menial time jobs while focusing on new music during the night. Two years afterwards they were prepared to consider their music to individuals and found previous friend Vern Zaborowski obtainable after departing his bass work within the punky clothing CKY. Zaborowski became a member of, added a tough advantage, and helped surface finish the debut EP The Southampton Collection, that was released with the Leftwing Recordings label in 2006. The major-label imprint Interscope selected them up in 2007 and released their full-length debut, Ameritown, in the summertime of that calendar year. Their sophomore record, Speak-Ahh, made an appearance in 2011 in the Rockhampton label.
