Eardrum

The duo’s materials is frequently dark, often hypnotic — only pure rhythm. 3 years after producing their 1996 debut using a 12″ on Spirit Static Audio, Ciccotelli and Baker released the YESTERDAY EVENING LP on Leaf. With help from many guests, every one of the instrumentation was documented live and was patched jointly in a strenuous editing procedure, Teo Macero design. YESTERDAY EVENING Remixes, Vol. 1, a batch of reworkings from famous brands Monolake, Ashley Beedle, as well as the Couch Surfers, premiered in middle-2000. The duo produced a full come back in 2001, per year that saw the discharge of UNWANTED EFFECTS, which featured efforts from renowned engineer Man Fixsen (My Bloody Valentine, Laika), Nii Tagoe (African Mind Charge), and Jason Yarde (Manu Dibango). Delving further into African-based musics, Eardrum once again confirmed a proclivity for firmly reined chaos.
