The choice CCM quartet Eager was founded in 1995 by singer/bassist Patrick Andrew, a onetime person in the group PFR, and singer/guitarist Greg Pope, a onetime solo artist and frontman from the band Apple Green. Recruiting guitarist Tag Kloos and drummer Paul Eckberg, Willing released their eponymous debut LP in 1997.
