Biography
Fiercely underground Chicago rapper E.C. Illa honed his abilities by battling around the Windy Town along with his clique the Sick Condition Assassins. The Caucasian rapper brought some undeground respectabilty to some city’s hip-hop college that (aside from GOOD SENSE) was starving for respect. Following a slew of EP’s and visitor spots on various other tasks, E.C. lowered his debut single work Da Illa LP in 1996. Illa LP boasted 16 paths of tough Chicago chin-checks with creation mostly conceived with the musician himself. E.C.’s high-strung design was clearly designed by a town of swirling affects, but his general sound was even more Old College East Coastline than Left Coastline. In 1996, E.C. captured enough respect to get his video for the solitary “Illa” presented on BET’s Rap Town a long time before Detroit’s Eminem experienced acheived any crossover achievement.
