This London, England-based hip-hop trio comprised producer Ace Shazamme and rappers 0026 as well as the Phantom. Produced in the first 90s, their central charm was the intoxicating beats and rhythms created by Shazamme, including both 70s funk grooves and examples drawn from tv and radio aswell as the Doorways. However, for most critics this offered as scant settlement for misogynist lyrics conveyed with the group’s MCs. Agreed upon by emergent London rap label Kold Perspiration, they released their debut record, A WAY OF MEASURING Drive, in 1994.
