Dylan Mondegreen

Norwegian singer/songwriter Børge Sildnes started building music beneath the pseudonym Dylan Mondegreen in 2005, creating a sound that approached his airy tunes from perspectives of both an indie rock lilt and a ’70s smooth rock haziness. His debut recording, While I Walk You House, premiered in Sept 2007. The recording was well received both critically and with regards to sales, drawing evaluations to Jens Lekman, Prefab Sprout, and additional indie troubadours from many eras. The record’s warm reception extended his target audience and paved just how for festival looks and a good tour of Japan. Sophomore recording The Globe Spins On premiered in ’09 2009. His following recording, 2013’s Dylan Mondegreen, was made by Ian Catt, who famously caused Saint Etienne as well as the Field Mice, and premiered by Shelflife Information. That record and another were affected by Sildnes’ youthful daughter and family members. The more peaceful and homey Every Small Day premiered in Apr of 2016.
