Dusty Sorbet initial hit the Halifax folk picture in 1995 along with his self-released debut EP of Fucked Up Small Pony. With just his classical guitar and storytelling lyrics, his second EP, THE NIGHT TIME the Lights WENT, implemented in 1996 with an followed support of bassist Lukas Pearse and drummer Benn Ross. This lineup would continue steadily to perform survive all of those other calendar year before Sorbet’s two-year hiatus in the Halifax music picture. 1998 would find his come back EP, WITH TIME, with his prior rhythm section aswell as the addition of Sean Cassidy (keyboards), Shannon Cunningham (support vocals/percussion), and Lisa MacKenzie (percussion/ support responsibilities). This lineup was ultimately highlighted on Dusty Sorbet’s 1999 record, entitled A Still Lifestyle With Well-timed Nick Nacks.
