German techno-pop ensemble from Münster Dune (named following the 1984 research fiction film directed by David Lynch) comprised DJ Oliver Froning (given birth to 1963), maker Jens Oettrich, and Bernd Burhoff (aka Plutone; given birth to 1969). After issuing “Hardcore Vibes,” and a cover of Rozalla’s strike “ARE YOU SET to Take flight,” the threesome teamed up with vocalist Verena von Strenge (aka Verena) to start out focusing on their self-titled debut recording, featuring the strike “Can’t Quit Raving.” Expedición adopted in 1996, as do a live recording documented in Rastatt, Germany, immediately after.
