The musical vehicle for longtime videographer turned singer/songwriter Adam Harding, Dumb Numbers help to make sludgy, expansive indie rock. Dealing with a small number of Los Angeles-based music artists including Barlow, Dinosaur Jr. drummer Murph, Deceased River-guitarist Bonnie Mercer, Melvins drummer Dale Crover, while others, Harding crafted Dumb Amounts’ idiosyncratic mixture of moody, guitar-based music that details upon distorted sound, stoner metallic, shoegaze, and additional styles of rock and roll. In 2013, Dumb Amounts released their debut full-length, self-titled recording on Joyful Sound Recordings.
