Biography
At age four, Dulce Pontes utilized to happily sing the national anthem of Portugal, an early on sign of what would become her most significant passion in life. The artist’s profession started in 1988, once the talented vocalist/actress arrived in 1st place in an area music competition. After getting tasks in different takes on and tv shows, Dulce Pontes participated in 1991’s Portuguese Music Festival, winning the function having a music known as “Lusitana Paixao,” which led to her becoming nominated to represent her indigenous nation at Eurovision. In 1992, her first recording, known as Lusitana, was locally released, accompanied by 1993’s Lágrimas and 1995’s double-live record Dulce Pontes Em Concerto — A Brisa Perform Coracao.
