Duke Dumont

Adam Dyment, aka Duke Dumont, surfaced in 2006 having a buzzing, whip-cracking remix of Mekon’s “Yes Yes Y’All.” The London, England-based maker and DJ, influenced by “fidget home” figure Change (M.We.A., Main Lazer), continued to improve his publicity through remixes for famous brands Late from the Pier (“Bathroom Gurgle”), Bat for Lashes (“Daniel”), and Lily Allen (“WORRIES”) ahead of releasing his 1st DJ mix recording, Fabriclive 51, this year 2010. Dyment stayed in demand like a remix maker — in 2012 only, he handled songs by Bonobo, Santigold, and AlunaGeorge, amongst others — but he also created popular of his personal in March 2013 with “Want U (100%).” Co-produced by Futtize and offering vocals from A*M*E, the monitor, similar to early-’90s crossover home, topped the U.K. pop graph. Twelve months on, in March 2014, Dyment strike the U.K. number 1 spot once more, this time using the Whitney Houston-sampling monitor “I ACQUIRED U.”
