Dubblestandart transplanted dub from Jamacia to Vienna, where it teamed using the Select Slashes label release a a lot of experimental dub recordings. The collective started in 1990, when it released “Front side of Foes.” Since that time, Dubblestandart continued creating dub, emphasizing the classic features of the design such as audio flexing equipment, analog delays, and synthesizers. And, needless to say, the collective emphasized reggae beats, though it do test out many untraditional techniques. Dubblestandart backed a few of reggae’s greatest on European travels, including Dillinger and Lee Perry. The collective constantly emphasized a note in its music, generally one about music being truly a bridge to cultural equality. In 2002 Select Slashes released Roads of Dub, a assortment of Dubblestandart tracks remixed by a range of prominent experimental dub manufacturers, plus a 12″ EP discharge of the record track “10 A great deal of Dope,” which notably highlighted Dillinger on vocals.
