Biography
Dallas-based rock group Drowning Pool was perhaps one of the most appealing bands upon their debut in the first 2000s. The task represented the eyesight of drummer Mike Luce and guitarist C.J. Pierce, who shaped the music group after relocating from New Orleans to Dallas and starting up with bassist Stevie Benton. Although they primarily performed as an instrumental trio, their audio coalesced using the appearance of Dave “Stage” Williams as vocalist. Drowning Pool experienced achievement from the outset. Whenever a copy of the 1st demo reached users of Sevendust, these were asked to tour using the commercial metal group. Trips with Kittie and (hed) p.e. adopted. Their second demonstration, recorded after 2 yrs on the highway, reached the very best Ten on Dallas radio train station KEGL and resulted in a contract using the Wind-Up Information label. Made by Jay Baumgardner (Papa Roach, Godsmack, Coal Chamber), their 1st recording, Sinner: Unlucky 13, became an instantaneous hit. It had been qualified platinum within six weeks of its launch, while their 1st single, “Body,” was probably one of the most regularly aired video clips on MTV for a fresh music group. They reached out to a much greater target audience with dynamic shows at Wrestlemania XVIII and Ozzfest through the summers of 2001 and 2002. Regrettably, their streak of achievement had not been to last. Soon after rousing the masses at Ozzfest in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 3, 2002, Williams was discovered dead of organic causes around the tour bus. Within the wake of this tragedy, the music group forged forward. A Dvd and blu-ray, Sinema, featuring a lot more than two-and-a-half hours of concert video footage, premiered in past due 2002. In January 2004, the music group announced the addition of vocalist Jason “Gong” Jones, and their sophomore work, Desensitized, followed almost a year later on. In 2006, previous Soil vocalist Ryan McCombs assumed the vocal responsibilities, and a yr later on they released BACK TO WHERE IT STARTED, which was accompanied by live recording, Loudest Common Denominator, in ’09 2009. A self-titled recording dropped this year 2010, producing McCombs the very first DP vocalist to record several recording using the group. Nevertheless, it was never to last: he departed the next yr, and was changed by Suicide Hook vocalist Jasen Moreno, who produced his established debut on 2013’s Resilience. 3 years later on, Moreno would match McCombs’ record using the announcement of the next Moreno-led and 6th general Drowning Pool record, Hellelujah. Made by Jason Suecof (Deicide, Motionless in Light), the discharge featured the one “With the Blood.”
