Vocalist Steve Sulikowski and bassist Eric Houlihan met while these were each building waves within the Amherst, CA, music picture. After shifting to L.A. jointly to perform being a duo, they fulfilled drummer Chad Norris and guitarist Jonathan Berry. Norris, whose father is at the service, got grown up executing in numerous rings while relocating between Naval bases. In the meantime, Berry had relocated from his hometown of Evanston, IL, to L.A. to pursue a music profession while carrying on his education. Once put together, Dropline quickly constructed a loyal pursuing and got a residency in Hollywood’s golf club district. Several months later, these were invited to execute at a small number of label showcases in L.A. and NY. After being individually courted by article writer/maker David Foster (Neil Gemstone, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston), the music group signed along with his 143 Information imprint and flew to Memphis to record at Ardent Studios. With maker Paul Ebersold (3 Doorways Down, Sister Hazel, Spacehog) in the helm, Dropline’s introspective and exposing lyrics were combined with spectacular pop/rock and roll songwriting and creation for his or her 2002 debut YOU MIGHT BE Here.
