Driving Past

Despite the fact that former Disband frontwoman Gig Ryan (vocals/acoustic guitar) and ex-Cannanes drummer David Nichols met in Sydney, Australia in the past due ’80s, they didn’t begin playing collectively until forming Traveling Past in 1996. Combined with the addition of Hydroplane bassist Andrew Withycombe and key pad/guitarist Mia Schoen, Traveling Past’s line-up was full as they continuing in the power-pop/indie rock and roll ethics of their earlier bands. Section Music ultimately released the band’s initial full-length PROPERTY in 1999 after placing out two prior singles.
