Driving East

Punky, poppy children from Fairfax, VA, Traveling East shaped in 2003. After several lineup adjustments, the music group solidified around business lead vocalist Barrett Mullins, guitarists Jeff Streicher and Nate Taylor, bassist Aaron Hubbard (a southern California transplant who, unusually for any pop-punk band, mementos an acoustic standup bass), and drummer Jon Jester. Traveling East released their debut EP, A Dark Eye or perhaps a Broken Center, in 2005 on the tiny indie BRAND Information. The unabashedly industrial EP, made by Panic! in the Disco’s sonic mastermind, Matt Squire, garnered plenty of attention to obtain the youthful band a display i’m all over this the Vans Warped Tour. After another lineup switch, which noticed Streicher changed by Justin Horenstein, Traveling East authorized to The Militia Group and started documenting their full-length debut.
