The associates of Tx pop-punk combo Drivers Friendly first began playing together in 2002 while still attending senior high school in North Houston. Hometown gigs resulted in a decent local pursuing and in 2004 the group made a decision to relocate to Austin, where they hoped the music sector would get sucked in.
