Pan-Scandinavian digital/folk outfit Drivan is basically the brainchild of visual designer, interdisciplinary art-meddler and Smalltown Supersound mainstay Kim Hiorthøy. The Norwegian maker fulfilled Swedes Lisa ?-stberg and Louise Peterhoff as well as the Finnish Kristiina Viiala in 2007 through the creation from the Potato Nation, a dance-theater piece by choreographer and overall performance designer Gunilla Heilborn, that Hiorthøy offered the music.
