Drew Emmitt


Delivered in Nashville, this musician and founder from the jam music group Leftover Salmon moved to Boulder, CO, in 1973 and entered Colorado College or university after graduating from senior high school. In 1984, he shaped a bluegrass group, the Still left Hand String Music group, named following a geographic area in Colorado. In 1990, Emmitt shaped Leftover Salmon with Vince Herman, learning to be a jam music group staple and powerful live work. The performer, known for a remarkably fast mandolin playing design, provides performed with everyone from Peter Rowan and John Cowan to Neil Youthful. In Apr 2002, Emmitt released his debut single effort, Freedom Trip, on Compass Information.
