Dreamboy was a mid-’80s R&B/funk music group signed to Quincy Jones’ Qwest label, written by Warner Bros. Its lineup was vocalist Jeff Stanton, guitarist Jeff Bass, keyboardist Jimi Hunt, and bassist and drummer George “Dewey” Twymon. The group was began at Oak Recreation area, MI’s Oak Recreation area SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. Their sole strike was the ballad “Don’t Proceed,” which strike quantity 17 R&B on Billboard’s R&B graph in early 1984. Its follow-up was another ballad, “I Guarantee (I REALLY DO Like You),” which managed to get to quantity 45 R&B in fall 1984. Bass, along with sibling Mark, would later on play major tasks in the the introduction of Eminem’s career.
