Dragonfly

This genre-bending band were only available in Boston in March 2001 after Miki Singh, a former software executive who was raised in Spain, Russia, Vietnam, Columbia, and Uganda, met Boston-area blues guitarist Peter Parcek. Originally, the theory was to create a music group to execute a one-off present at a music celebration in the Caribbean. However the success from the performance led to even more rehearsals and shows both in THE UNITED STATES as well as the Caribbean. The group, which also includes drummer Steve Scully, bassist Marc Hickox, and keyboardist Sibling Cleve, released its debut record beneath the name Miki Singh and Jetset in 2002. An ambitious four-CD task entitled Departure was fulfilled with important acclaim, and a little but cult-like pursuing. In 2003, the group continuing touring in THE UNITED STATES, Europe, as well as the French isle of St. Barthelemy in the Caribbean. Changing its name to Dragonfly, the group came back using its sophomore work The Edge from the Globe in 2003. The 24-monitor album, which also contains an 80-web page booklet, was documented over 26 times in Dec 2002. The record was organized in Morocco, documented in the Caribbean, and debuted reside in the Maldives, just increasing the band’s global strategy.
