Dracma

The brothers of Chilean soul singer Pedro Foncea, Felipe and Cote Foncea joined forces to generate the rap-metal band, Dracma. Merging distorted guitars, bone-crushing strength and politically billed rap lyrics, the group provides used Latin America by surprise. Propelled by their headline-grabbing functionality at Colombia’s Celebration of Rock, before several hundred thousand brand-new supporters, the group continuing to attract global interest with their initial international tour, Rock and roll To Pack Y2K, in 2000. They received a Grammy prize as “Greatest Latin alternative rock and roll group” along with a MTV Latin America “People’s Choice” prize. . The Foncea brothers was raised hearing African-American performers including Kool as well as the Gang, The Parliament-Funkadelics and Globe, Wind and Open fire and metal rings including Twisted Sister, Metallica and Panther. In the beginning playing collectively in early-90s rock-band, De Kiruza, they created Dracma once the group disbanded in 1992. Since 2001, Dracma offers focused on playing for university or college students. After carrying out for students in the Catholic University or college in San Joaquin, Chile, they embarked on a tour, Rock and roll To The Deck, where they performed free of charge on campuses throughout SOUTH USA.
