Dr. Cosgill

An enterprising UK music group that held the torch for electrical folk by using medieval tunes as though these were the Stranglers. Their documented highlight was included with the 1981 one ‘Benediction’/‘Douce Dame’. Although they disbanded in the same calendar year, their impact was felt a year or two later using the ‘rogue folk’ motion. By then, head Paul Adam (b. 4 Apr 1957, Southampton, Hampshire, Britain; bagpipes/saxophone) and, a calendar year later on, Dave Shepherd (b. 7 Apr 1954, Sheffield, Yorkshire, Britain; fiddle) had joined up with Blowzabella.
