Down River Country, who comprise Shaun Atkins (vocals), Gizz Butt (electric guitar), Store (bass) and Pinch (drums), were formed in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Britain, in 1994. Although these were welcomed in the web pages of rock magazines, there is greater than a hint of third-generation UK punk rock and roll within their fiery songwriting. This is probably unsurprising, as two music group members had previously been in British Dogs, who specific in an identical make of molten thrash. Nevertheless, Down River Country added a surly make of funk and dance rhythms, obviously inspired by Urban Dance Squad.
