Biography

Scottish singer/songwriter Dot Allison 1st produced a name for herself with 1 Dove, an early-’90s group that combined dance and dream-pop elements on the first in support of album, 1993’s Morning hours Dove White colored. After One Dove disbanded within the middle-’90s, Allison vanished from pop music until 1999, whenever a string of singles, concert looks, and collaborations with performers like Arab Strap and Loss of life in Vegas heralded her debut full-length, Afterglow. WE HAVE BEEN Science adopted in 2002, owing a dreamier sound to some superstar lineup of suppliers. During the following couple of years, Allison held occupied touring with Massive Assault, recording and carrying out with Pete Doherty and focusing on songs on her behalf next recording. Completed in Oct 2006, it required the singer nearly annually to sign to some label (Cooking food Vinyl) and obtain the finished item, the folkier Exaltation of Larks, from the racks. Her 2009 recording, Space 7 ½, presented some help from Paul Weller and Pete Doherty.
