French electronica designer Dorine_Muraille, aka Julien Locquet, runs on the fragmented, glitchy strategy similar compared to that of Oval’s Markus Popp, rearranging compositions steeped in French custom into music that’s radically different and lovely. Locquet also information as :Gel, and offers released an Artefact recording and a 12″ series under that name. For his Dorine_Muraille function, Locquet collaborated with article writer Chloe Delaume, whose second book, Le Cri du Sablier, won very much acclaim and many awards in France’s literary circles.
