Dordán

The Celtic group Dordan includes a trio of women from Region Galway, including tin-whistle player Mary Bergin, harpist Kathleen Loughnane and fiddler Dearbhail Standun. Dordan, whose name means “drone” in Gaelic, released their 1st album Jigs TOWARDS THE Moon in 1994, and obtained more attention for his or her Narada Christmas recording THE NIGHT TIME Before … A Celtic Xmas. They released another recording for Narada, Celtic Aire, in 1999 and something for Shanachie, Irish Traditional & Baroque Music, exactly the same year.
