Dopo Yume

Jordan Galland’s music baby, Dopo Yume, is a campy mixture of indie pop and garage area rock and roll. He was 18 when he founded this cool clothing in 1998, merging the Italian phrase for “after” (dopo) and japan translation for “wish” (yume). For another couple of years. Galland collaborated with a few of his fellow N.Con.C. pals like Sean Lennon, Cibo Matto’s Miho Hatori and Yuka Honda, and Timo Ellis, but solidified Dopo Yume’s lineup by adding Jopa Keenon (drums), Adam Crystal (keyboards), and David Muller (bass). Guitarist/arranger Kevin McGinnis became a member of quickly thereafter and Dopo Yume instantly billed the posh, post-grunge music picture overtaking Manhattan. They performed shows with famous brands Rufus Wainwright and Phantom Globe, and in past due 2002, Dopo Yume’s cheeky, fun debut, Accurate Romance, was separately released.
