Hailing from Toulouse, France, Doolin’ are an eclectic Celtic ensemble whose mastery of traditional Irish music provides earned them a global following. Called after an Irish angling village and generally composed of two different households, Doolin’ mix a number of traditional and modern Celtic designs with components of French folk and rock and roll music. The music group includes brothers Nicolas Besse (electric guitar) and Wilfried Besse (vocals, accordion) and their cousin Sébastien Saunié (bass), along with Guilhem Cavaillé (fiddle) and brothers Jacob (whistles) and Josselin Fournel (bodhran). Since developing in 2005, they possess released three studio room albums aswell as the 2013 concert record Reside in Lorient. After putting your signature on with Compass Information, they traveled towards the U.S. to record their 2016 self-titled 4th LP in Nashville, incorporating American root base music to their already unique audio.
