Donnie Barren Holtzinger was the business lead guitarist for the LA rock band Town Lights, who have been popular around the regional golf club circuit in the past due ’70s and early ’80s. Holtzinger started his solo profession in 1982, liberating an individual, “I REALLY LIKE My Cat’s Meow,” beneath the name Donnie Barren early in 1983. The track was a regional hit, though it experienced poor advertising and distribution. Holtzinger returned into the studio room and recorded extra tracks to create an album round the single, even though marketing the finished album to brands, he became intrigued with the way the business part of industrial music worked well. He completely transformed direction and came back to school, generating an M.B.A. from Harvard, 1st taking a work with Proctor & Gamble after graduating, and shifting to Microsoft, and neither work had anything regarding music. Holtzinger’s recording project as a result sat on the shelf for over twenty years before it had been dusted off and released as I REALLY LIKE My Cat’s Meow! in 2005, this time around under his name, Donnie Barren Holtzinger. Following a stay playing business lead acoustic guitar for the Seattle-based music group Indigo Spirit and focusing on that band’s Even more Punch Than Punch Collection album restored his desire for recording, Holtzinger came back to the studio room as a single artist, launching an record of instrumentals known as Freedom.
