Donald Brown

Biography

An excellent pianist and educator, Donald Dark brown in addition has been a prolific composer. He was raised in Memphis and also began on drums and trumpet. By enough time he went to Memphis State University or college (1972-1975), he was playing jazz piano. After many years of regional work, Brown changed James Williams using the Jazz Messengers (1981-1982). He continued to instruct at Berklee (1983-1985) as well as the University or college of Tennessee (beginning in 1988), documented albums like a innovator for Sunnyside and Muse, and experienced his compositions performed and documented by a wide selection of top contemporary jazz players.
